Full Stack meaning complete design, implementation, and maintenance of web-based applications.
From the "Front-end" user interface that most people refer to a web page, to the creation, updating,
and maintaining of the Data Base, to the complete updating and maintaining of the "Back-end", which
is where all the magic happens to make Web-Based Applications run properly and smoothly.
This is accomplished and implemented using many technologies including,
CSS,
HTML,
JavaScript,
MongoDB,
Express/Node.js, and
React.
This website was created to be used as a platform to test potential technologies
that might be
used
and implemented into the final production, therefore,
This website is currently
and will continue to go through ongoing changes as the technologies advance.
Current Skills
I am currently learning to design interactive web based applications for the average user. I am moderately fluent in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQLdb, and Python. I also create web graphics using GIMP, Photoshop and PSPro. I'm now retired so now I spend most of my time writing code, and more code, and lots and lots of more code.
My Other Interests
I'm also interested in playing music. I'm the only one I know with two full drum sets in the spare bedroom. I am also interesting in anything to do with Flight Mode. I run FlightSim 20 for civilian aircraft flights, DCS for combat flight mode mostly in the F/A-18c Hornet, and Elite Dangerous for my "space" flight siming. I also worked for Skywest for many years as a ground agent which gave me my daily fix for being around real aircraft on a daily basis. Nothin' beats the smell of JP4 on a cool, crisp morning.
